RICHARD OLIVER BUBB-CLARKE 1943 — 2021

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Bubb-Clarke got his bachelor of commerce from Sir George Williams University in Montreal. In 1968, after a whirlwind romance, he married the love of his life. He was the senior vice president at the Bank of Nova Scotia, from which he retired after more than 30 years. Bubb-Clarke had a passion for his family, travel, fine cars and scotch. He loved live sporting events with the Toronto Raptors and the Jamaican track and field team. Bubb-Clarke was known for his quick wit, kindness, curiosity and generosity.

SUSAN ANNABELLA ALLEYNE 1948 — 2021

Alleyne was born in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, and was the fifth of 10 children. She came to Canada in the late 1960s and was a hardworking mother devoted to her sons. Alleyne had a love for gardening, cooking and classic movies. Up until her retirement, she was a personal support worker who took great pride in caring for others.

Charters was a well-loved and respected coach and teacher for over 45 years, affectionately known by his students as the Corporal. He lived a fulfilling life as a devoted father, grandfather, husband and friend. He loved playing, coaching and watching all sports, as well as spending time with his loved ones, and, most of all, at the family cottage in Muskoka.
