No consequence for anti-social behaviour

A reader offers an excellent idea for stopping unnecessary vehicle noise. But he is wrong to assume that bylaws prohibiting certain behaviours will be enforced.

The reality is that, with the exception of parking violations, there is little enforcement of city bylaws.

So let your unmuzzled pit bull off its leash in the park, leave it to bark non-stop in your yard, pump up the volume on your throbbing car speakers, feed those pigeons and raccoons, and, yes, blast your electric guitar at night!
