CORRECTION

An Aug. 6 article about why city councillors are running from their jobs mistakenly stated Premier Doug Ford recently named 73 MPPs in the Progressive Conservative caucus as parliamentary assistants. In fact there are 43 parliamentary assistants. The base salary for Ontario MPPs is $116,550.
