Toronto Dance Theatre offers ‘Disko Piknik’

Toronto Dance Theatre will kick off its 2022/23 season with a picnic in Earl Bales Park.

“Disko Piknik” on Sept. 17 will feature a four-course meal by a chef yet to be announced, and performances by Laurence Le- mieux, Tanveer Alam, Matthew “Snoopy” Cuff, Flvr Squad and company artistic director An- drew Tay.

In February, Toronto Dance Theatre presents the experi- mental “The Magic of Assem- bly,” featuring choreographer Ashley “Colours” Perez and music duo LAL. March brings “Convergent Divergency,” combining Bharatanatyam, vogue and ballroom dance from Atri Nundy and Danah Ro- sales.
