No surprise Ford is cutting out our most vulnerable

Health minister under fire over OHIP changes for eye care, uninsured patients, March 27

Given the underhanded approach to governing by Premier Doug Ford’s Progressive Conservative party, it is not surprising they are picking on two vulnerable groups by scaling back free eye tests for seniors and eliminating services for the uninsured.

Clearly these two groups are qualitatively different than developers, the premier’s friends who are invited to his family’s weddings. What is even more humorous is that Health Minister Sylvia Jones is pointing fingers at Manitoba and Nova Scotia for leading the way on more restrictive eye tests, as if that justifies Ontario’s actions.
