Rose Zhang lived up to her billing as the best female amateur in the world by playing bogey-free for a 6-under 66 and a one-shot lead after the opening round of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur in Evans, Ga. Zhang was one stroke better than Andrea Lignell on a day when only 10 other golfers broke par at Champions Retreat. Canadian Monet Chun shot 73.
